I would like to think so, but I'm not getting my hopes up, so I won't be bitterly disappointed if/when it turns out to be something else entirely and Orange Vocoder 4 is shunted aside once again.

No!! I can't afford it right now, but I have to get it if it's Zynaptiq. Don't make me sell some crypto :(

Post

Fingers crossed.
Take care

Post

Yeah, probably it is. A vocoder definitely checks the boxes of Sound Design and Game Audio.

note the qualifier "may" :)
I love my Zynaptiq plugins and like everyone else here think they could make a shit hot vocoder. Probably be $200 tho, which is too much for me unless I sell some other plugins/libraries

Post

They just posted on Twitter, turns out the news was that they acquired Aurchitect Audios line of products. A bit disappointing they still haven’t mentioned Orange Vocoder, I just hope they release it sometime this year.

Orange Vocoder got me again, like Lucy snatching away the football just when Charley goes to kick it. Every damn time. Good grief.
Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

Post

While they may have been vaguely applicable, those hasthags in the Twitter post didn't make think "vocoder."

I wonder what Zynaptiq want with those apps - from the hashtags looks like rounding out their product line with a focus into games/production/audio editing. Maybe an integrated solution

Making money?

perhaps ....
but normally companies buy something to integrate into their existing technologies or extend their technologies into new markets. Buying unrelated products is a hedge fund type of activity or strange large Magix move :)
Zynaptiq have been built around a certain type of signal processing and these new purchases do not seem to have that basis. I am wondering what interesting new products might come out

Perhaps the NUGEN way plus deep, unique audio FX:
One Stop for professional audio workers?

Disappointed that still no Orange Vocoder, but not actually surprised. I know they keep popping up to say they’re working on it, and I don’t think they’re intentionally lying or anything like that, but I just don’t believe they’re ever going to get around to actually finishing it.
