I'm loving the demo of this...just d/l'd the demo of Spin Audio's Roomverb M2 too. Honestly, this is a tossup for me.
The Princeton sounds great, and has a ton of character, but the M2 is pretty versatile...!

Blimey...reverb gets some heavy play time here.
Anyroad, if you want a native based, non impulse plugin reverb that that can better approximate the normal boundary characteristics of acoustic spaces, why not give the Cakewalk Soundstage plug a go.
Waaaay more tweakable, and it does a much more convincing job of providing the spacial localization cues you would normally expect to encounter in real acoustic spaces. You can get very explosive, punchy rooms out of this one.
Yes, it's old...yes, it's DX...yes, you will have to get your head round it a bit...

The Princeton is pulling a "Mango!!" on me... it's all about the character. Must...resist...

Out of spite, the human beings pretended not to believe that it was Snowball who had destroyer the windmill: they said that it had fallen down because the walls were too thin. The animals knew that this was not the case. Still, it had been decided to build the walls three feet thick this time instead of eighteen inches as before, which meant collecting much larger quantities of stone. For a long time the quarry was full of snowdrifts and nothing could be done. Some progress was made in the dry frosty weather that followed, but it was cruel work, and the animals could not feel so hopeful about it as they had felt before. They were always cold, and usually hungry as well. Only Boxer and Clover never lost heart. Squealer made excellent speeches on the joy of service and the dignity of labour, but the other animals found more inspiration in Boxer’s strength and his never-failing cry of “I will work harder!”

I just emailed Princeton Digital about their plans to look into alternative copy protection. Here's what they sent me:
Sorry if there was any confusion, but there are no
plans to release a version without copy protection.
The version of PACE we're using is the 'challenge-response'
mode and does not install drivers or anything that should affect
your computer. No iLok key is required.
Is there such a thing as a "safe" version of PACE?

Well, it looks like what they are using is just a wrapper for the .dll. I can't see why that would be dangerous.JeffSanders wrote:Is there such a thing as a "safe" version of PACE?
We probably shouldn't confuse matters, as the PACE that caused so much problems in the past (and maybe still does) installed drivers on your system that interfered with all sorts of stuff.
This wrapper I think might just be a pain the arse if you upgrade to a new system etc.
