Hello all.
I am adjusting my Reaper workflow and want to make it the way my Cubase works.
I am very familiar with it so....
Cubase has a toolbox for editing midi and Audio.
Is there something simmelar in Reaper.
IF it is a skript or simething, than HOW do I use it that it works?
Alle the best for you.

Yes, a "Cubase-like" workflow is possible, but you have to invest
some time.
Read chapter 15 of the manual: "Customization: Actions, Mouse Modifiers,
Menus and Toolbars" - there is all you need.
Good luck!

This video is John from ReaperBlog and Joey Sturgis where the John walks Joey through how to setup a Reaper Config that's more like Cubase:classic wrote: ↑Sat Apr 04, 2020 6:08 pm Hello all.

I don't think this covers toolbars, been a while since I saw it, but it will cover preferences, mouse modifiers, and keyboard shortcuts to get you a more keyboard-like workflow. After that, setting up custom toolbars in Reaper is very easy.
You can get VERY close to Cubase. Long video, but check it out.

That video is total bullshit! He is wrong with almost every reference to what another DAW can do. Not just sort of. 100% total bullshit wrong.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote: ↑Sat Apr 04, 2020 9:45 pmThis video is John from ReaperBlog and Joey Sturgis where the John walks Joey through how to setup a Reaper Config that's more like Cubase:classic wrote: ↑Sat Apr 04, 2020 6:08 pm Hello all.

His explanation that various DAWs can't handle audio edit rendering for samples and such. There is no magic sauce in Reaper that makes it better for that. Reaper is not worse, but everything he describes is easily doable in a normal workflow in those "other" DAWs.
