in kvr, if you don't start another "what are the best 5 synths" kind of thread or discussing in length (and rage) yet to be released synth then it's a completely wasted and useless thread.

Yeah, we can only hope for some interesting plot holes to come to the surface.
Any you are still holding on? Restraining order from your wife because of MX obsession for example?

i defended it because it's an exceptional synth. but my experience (twice) with losing a preset renders it useless.. for me. no irony involved.

the kvr forums are, at the least, always entertaining. glad i could start a thread that maintains that tradition.

The recall issue was one of the early bugs they had at launch. Looks like its back again.Could be anything. Could be Catalina? Could be the new Logic?

Can you repeat the steps to recreate the bug? I 'll try it on my end.

i've used MX in a good number of projects; only in 2 have i had the problem.

an edited, saved preset plays back with a much-compromised sound... this time, reopening the original sound ('alaska', from one of NI's new soundsets) had that sound playing back wrong.

going back&forth between that preset and others... eventually the sound played correctly.

anyway, i don't want to spend more time on this, i'd rather be mixing than troubleshooting. i've already bounced-to-disk every MX part i have (& can of course replace with another plugin).

catalina? logic? not sure where the issue is. but am ok moving on. thanx all (even the trolls)

why i'm abandoning massive X...
