I would like to try making music with linux and I downloaded waveform11, but my motu mk3 with firewire is not seen by the pc, what are the best external linux audio interfaces to work with Ardor or Waveform11?
ps I would like to use Ubuntu or Linux Mint or anyway a debian based distro. Sorry if maybe I posted in the wrong place of the forum and thanks in advance for the help

Yes, looks like the Motu is not supported by Linux:

I am using a "Behringer U-Phoria UMC204HD" with Arch Linux:

There are some crackling sounds when booting up but I think that's caused by the driver implementation because it does not do that when booting into Windows. It's using a default Linux driver so it should also work with Debian/Ubuntu. For me it's working well and as a bonus it's also quite cheap.

The Focusrite Scarlett series seems to not be officially supported, at least on their site, but from experience, it works on Linux based systems (my use case it was Ubuntu and Scarlett 2i4).
Take care
