Yeah I’ve got a black BSP I sold the other one, Do you guys look on that modular grid too, it seems great?whyterabbyt wrote: Sun May 31, 2020 5:54 pmrob_lee wrote: Sun May 31, 2020 5:46 pm Great I shop at both of those, I’ve noticed some of my gear can control cv stuff like the Akai mpcx and Hydra synth,
Did you not have a Beatstep Pro as well?
Sorry, not so up on analog drum modules. (Im generally in sample-playing module territory for percussion sounds)do you recommend tip top audio modules or are there good alternatives as I’m looking for percussion and drums?
Tip Top are a great brand in general, though, and pretty popular. The one drum module Ive noticed 'everyone' seems to have is the Iteratas Alter, but its digital.
Cant think offhand who else does analog drum modules. MFB used to do all their analog drum machine 'bits' as independent modules, dont know if they still do.
2020 a year in gear (what have you/are you bought/buying?)

Yeah, Ive even paid for the sub a coupla times too because I wound up with a lot of variations trying to reorganise/plan my racks.

Here's another option, I have bought from..rob_lee wrote: Sun May 31, 2020 5:28 pm
Thanks mate where’s the best places online to shop for these 19” cases and do some of them come with the power supplies?
they also do cases and various power supplies... they've been around a while and specialise in this stuff...
and good on the phone, very helpful.
https://synthracks.com/shop/eurorack-19-rack
For power, I have kept it simple and used 4ms Row Power... it's a module, takes 4HP and runs from a power brick. It's easy to expand a system without having to dig into power supply and buss boards just add another row power on the next frame
Tiptop also do a similar system.. I think vurt uses them

I think pulp logic is the cheapest I’ve seen for rails. They are not automatically sold in pairs, but 2 x 84 hp (one 19” 3u row) is $30 US. Dunno with shipping and whatnot.
Tons of guys selling them on Etsy and Reverb as well.

the company I linked do pairs of 104hp for £30 .. shipping will be cheaper and no import tax..pekbro wrote: Sun May 31, 2020 6:48 pm I think pulp logic is the cheapest I’ve seen for rails. BUT
trouble with going that way is the fixings needed to rack mount them.. I think Rob just wants to get something he can just bolt into a studio 19" rack and be done .

Was gonna use the extra 1u above each rack for rack lighting.. I could always build a desktop modular later if I purchased more.toonertik wrote: Sun May 31, 2020 7:01 pmAnd you have space for some 1U racks... https://synthracks.com/shop/1u-eurorack-framerob_lee wrote: Sun May 31, 2020 6:53 pm

Yes this is what I want.. On my desk I have x2 4u angled rack spaces, would like 2x 3u either side and then I'd put a 1u rack light strip either side to fill the space.toonertik wrote: Sun May 31, 2020 6:55 pm I think Rob just wants to get something he can just bolt into a studio 19" rack and be done .
