How much should I charge for remixes?

Hey all,
Recently had a guy whose remix competition I won a few years ago contact me about my rates for a remix. The thing is though, is that I have absolutely no idea on how to price remixing services. I've had around 6.5-7 years of experience with digital music production, and 12 years of experience with learning instruments in general (like guitar). In the past 3 years, I think I've won around 8 remix competitions, and participated in I think 13 or 14. I try to be as detailed as I can with sound design when I do remixes, and I also never half ass anything with mixing and mastering.
For those of you who do remixing for artists by rates, how much do you guys usually charge based on your experience level?

Wait, you can charge for remixes?
I did a few, but my sales are still around an epsilon.
My blind guess would be a hundred dollars or two. And there's some Reddit which supports this claim: https://www.reddit.com/r/edmproduction/ ... g_a_remix/

It's a bit tricky. If nobody knows who you are, it's tough to ask for much money. OTOH, if you are well established within your genre and your name will help promote the release, it would be normal to charge something in the 500 - 1000 euros range. As you seem to fall into the former category, I'd suggest 100-200 euros/dollars/pounds would be the most you could expect, even though that probably works out to $5 an hour or something. Still, I've done plenty of remixes for nothing, just to get our name some exposure, so you'll be doing better than I've ever managed.
