Hi! The same question just popped up on Youtube (maybe it was you), so i've got a patch prepared already. I really hope, it helps!

Panning is pretty basic, but we will make a dedicated node for it (or i'll do a quick noding session about it). A stereo track node, and a logarithmic mixer are on the way (prototyped already), maybe they will be featured in the next development build already.

Alpha Modular Forever is available for Windows for US $80 at https://afmodular.com.

Started as a fun project by the Hungarian brothers Gábor Gyutai and Balázs Gyutai Alpha Forever is a node based modular sound design tool which allows you to create custom instruments and effects in uncompromised quality as quickly and conveniently as possible. After 3 years of development the plugin was released in October 2018 and now has an updated version.

We did not think about discounts and coupons yet. We try to keep our prices reasonable, we hope, Alpha does not feel overpriced! :)

We are doing everything we can, but the main focus is not on porting. We move towards the possibility of involving a different platform in small steps, without loosing focus on enhancing Alpha Forever.

Is there a place where we can download all the free patches as listed in the Soundcloud sound examples?
A well-behaved signature.

Thanks. I see how to navigate to this page now. However, it's not clear from the main page that the "Free patches" text is a clickable link. I'd recommend giving the text something to distinguish it as such.

I have one other request: Please, please, *please* implement a consistent and user-friendly file format and file handling. The current one still seems to be fiddly at best (although better than in version 1.0).

We are always trying to enhance things. What does disturb you in the current file handling? There’s .txt for saving designers (clipboard compatible), and .fxp in vst2.4, and soon .vst in vst3.0. Drag and drop .txt files is a planned feature, would that help?

I would like an easily-identified, prominent menu item for loading files. Right now you apparently have to right-click to bring up a menu that includes loading .fxp files. That's not consistent with how file handling is done in pretty much any other application.

You also now have 2 types of preset files which are handled in completely different ways. I.e., the .fxp file, and the text file which you import via copy-paste. Loading a file via copy-paste is again different from how pretty much all other applications operate. Also, it was causing problems with hosts which don't like to give keyboard focus to plugins (this was back around version 1.0, maybe this has been fixed). I'd like to see one single type of preset file, or maybe a couple (like how Reaktor has both Instruments and Ensembles) but accessed in a consistent way.
