Logic Midi out problem? Help!

Hi all,

I expect this will be an easy problem for KVR to solve but I can’t figure it out -

All projects work fine - then I wake up today and one particular project will not play ‘midi out’ to any track - I had frozen some tracks on it just before this started happening if that could be the cause? I’ve unfrozen them now - makes no help.

Control bar shows midi in is fine - shows the usual note value, velocity etc - Midi out shows ‘no midi out’ message.

Open up editor page and midi notes are clearly coming in as the little dot appears on the correct keys.

Notes drawn into the editor sound as normal and the project plays as normal

It’s just midi out to the virtual instruments that won’t produce any sound.

Have I accidentally turned off midi output for this whole project somehow?!


All other projects are fine...any ideas?
