Dear Forum,
I am new to the world of wind controller so excuse maybe this silly questions but I need help. Having an EWI USB, I installed SWAW engine saxophone with the installer on Windows 10. This installed the library in the VST 64 plug-ins subfolder in A Native Instruments folder. I downloaded savihost to be able to play this engine in a standalone form. Therefore I move savihost.exe in the same folder than my SWAM Alto Sax 64bit.dll and renamed it by SWAM Alto Sax 64bit.exe. A double-click on it gives me the message on the attached picture. Would someone have an idea of the problem ?
Thank you very much in advance,
Harold

I've just googled the error message, and here's one answer :
So I've looked at HermannSeib.com again, and there's this text here on the bottom of the savihost page:According to the savihost website it requires the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x64) to be installed.
This may not be installed by default on Win 10.
Hermann Seib wrote: The x64 version, however, is built with Visual Studio 2008 SP1, and thus requires msvcr90.dll and mfc90.dll to run. I'm not sure whether the 64-bit versions of Vista/7 contain these from the start; if not, please download and install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x64).

Hi Harold, you can try the free version of our plugin host Camelot Pro (https://camelotpro.com/try-and-buy/ (https://camelotpro.com/try-and-buy/)). With the free version you can load up to 10 VSTi simultaneously with 10 different presets that you can switch.
Why did you put the SWAM instrument into the Native Instrument folder?
Let me know.
Best Regards,
Andrea
