This is a tough one: Anybody know what could be causing a Logic track to load a new channel strip setting whenever I send it MIDI via the IAC Driver? I've tried with lots of different MIDI coming in so it's not the MIDI itself sending some sort of message to do that, AFAIK… What sort of message could that be, anyway? It's not a Program Change one, is it?, since it's loading a different plugin PLUS a MIDI FX neither of which I had loaded originally…wtf!?

I've opened and closed Logic a few times, and same with the sending program, which does it with ANY MIDI file I send out of it set to go on IAC 1, Channel 1.

EDIT: OK, it IS a Program Change message, plus me having long ago in ignorance saved a channel strip setting into the Performance folder inside the regular Instruments channel strip settings folder. Cleared that out and problem solved. Still don't know how to keep the source app from sending the message in the first place, but that's another story.
