I paid for the upgrade, I have an invoice to prove it. Tried to register it and was told it was already registered. In my products it's listed with a key number. All this before I attempted to download the installer. When I click the download button all I get is a spinning icon. How can I activate what can't be downloaded and installed. My computer is online and I have no second computer to do an offline install. Contacting Presonus support is a convoluted process. They have my money but I have nothing. I have been a Studio One user since 2014. I guess I should've stayed at ver 2 as I have read a lot of negative comments while trying to figure out this issue. :x :x :x :x :help:

Try another browser. Try deactivating your browser addons. Try adjusting your cookie settings. Try to download another day. I never had a issue with downloading my stuff from Presonus here.

It is registered to your account if you bought it from them. Go to menu Studio One > Studio One Activation and activate it after installing it, and don't click the "upgrade" check box.

Are you logged into your Presonus account? If the newer version is "listed in your products" then it's already registered in your account (That would explain the "already registered" message).

As far as the download problems, I suggest doing what chk071 suggests.

@chk071,LawrenceF,flugel45 Thank You!!! The download problem was indeed a browser problem, the other issues were as flugel45 pointed out with my account, LawrenceF gave a valuable tip with the not checking the upgrade box. This just shows what a valuable resource KVR can be. Thanks again.

I'm happy you resolved your operator error. Which happens a lot from users who aren't exactly technically inclined or experienced with these type of technical issues. They would rather flame on a piece of software, company or developer before actually figuring out the real issue.

Which I would guess is about 90% operator errors, by not following directions or having a unique and custom setup. Then expecting customer service to untwist it all for them with a smile.

Remember next time you think/feel like this:

Take a deep breath and reevaluate all the options before committing to flaming someone or something when you're not in a position to do so with true facts. It really does the audio community a disservice and people need to realize their words have impact on naive people that don't know better.
When people move the goal posts to make a point, there is no longer an original point to be made.
