Not totally sure what you are looking for, but if you are looking for that acidy squelch mid bass then just program up a mildly '303ish patch. Set velocity control of filter cutoff at a comfortable level for your playing style, and disable it on amplitude level. For quick gratification just play the same note over and over again varying note velocity to get the movement.TennesseeVic wrote:Ok, first page "aren't we clever on a saturday morning" replies more or less full.
I could actually use some actual information or pointers thereto.
Bung all of that through a delay and voila.
Otherwise, start Vanguard, dial up a random patch and hold a key.

Go listen to some pre 98 stuff. Everything now is just top 40 wank. These producers murder old classic tracks and get a top 40 hit. Nowa days it just seems like anyone can knock out a track with a punchy kick and few cheesy synths and strings and get a hit because all the school kids go buy it. Good Trance is hard to find.

Dunno, Trance to me is still that sound that grew out of acid. I had difficulty fitting Encore Un Fois into my idea of trance.nuffink wrote:Point me to some grown up trance.Rocco From Essex wrote:Trance is alright if it ain't "kiddie Trance".
Still, since you asked:
Sunday Club Etana's Flight
Underworld Rez
Vernon Vernon's World (actually f**k it, anything off of EyeQ pretty much)

You guys love to judge, but I'd really like to hear your poor excuse for music, NUFFINK!
