What can OBsession do that Dune 3 can't?

With all of the filters in Dune 3, I would think it would be pretty easy to get that sound...however not a function-to-function match. I guess it would be great if you are a huge fan of that synth.

From the manual, it appears that the Polaris filter in Dune 3 is based on the CEM 3372 chip used in the Matrix 12 and Xpander.
It looks like the OBXa was based on most of the same chips as the Prophet 5 Rev 3 and Prophet 10.

No, I love Oberheim. I am more of a fan of the Matrix 12/Xpander, though...will wait and see what it is, how it sounds, and if I can use it.chk071 wrote: Wed Jun 10, 2020 10:32 am If you don't care for Oberheim's synths, then you can happily pass on this.

Yes, but Obsession is kind of unique. While it emulates the OB-Xa brilliantly, it can do things I've never seen in any other synth plugin, DUNE 3 included. Wait for the demo and you'll see.
