I'm sorry for your 180 € loss, BTW. The question is if you shouldn't move on in your life though, rather than crying your heart out here every day about it. It's not like your GF left you or something. Even then, it would be quite a borderline behavior.
There's no walmart in my country.
And I think it's justified to warn people about xfer crap policy. Cuz they're not warned anywhere at the purchase site that "heyyy I'll take your money and you're stuck with your license".

I really wanted to sell my serum license and buy Pigments to replace it. Now I'm forced to have both :hihi:

Buy on PB! You currently get the entropyEQ from Sonible as a free gift. Awesome tool :hyper: ... seems to be a mix of an eq and a transient shaper :?: Dont know exactly how it works, but it's really useful to tame your beats after heavy processing or to harmonize them with the rest of the arangment. Seems to remove inharmonic frequencies :?: Who cares ... it just works

Calenberger wrote: Wed Jun 10, 2020 11:08 am Wasn't there a poll here on KVR recently which showed that SERUM is still the most used and admired wavetable synth?

Edit
Found it:

no, it was voted the favourite WT synth, by 106 ppl at KvR
the best or not, this is still valuable info for me! haha! :hihi:

I think it was mentioned at least once, but RTO through Splice might be a good call too. But pluginboutique has its benefits if you get extra things with it - which definitely seems to be a top choice, especially as the license functions the same way.
Take care

Nobody in their sane mind, who is making psytrance, would ever want to get rid of Serum.

Why anybody in their sane mind would want to make psytrance is another question tho.
You may think you can fly ... but you better not try

If you're not sure you definitely want it RTO from Splice at least that way you can try it for a month and you only lose $10 if you decide you don't want it.

Well I for one don't even remotely consider whether I can sell the license before I buy a new plug-in so maybe you're in the minority on that (or maybe I am)?

Why not? There are other options too.

I thought only 2nd hand Serum licenses were NFR, did they update their policy to ban them altogether? I thought there were rules against that?
Always Read the Manual!

There were some people making frauds with second hand licenses so SD in his great wisdom decided to punish everyone about it.

Would've been cool if new licenses were nfr and old users would've been able to sell their licenses once but no..

Distorted Horizon wrote: Wed Jun 10, 2020 9:28 am My advice? Don't buy that overpriced NFR synth at all. Rather buy arturia pigments or similar.
“Don’t buy that overpriced synth”

Precedes to recommend more expensive synth.
The post above this is likely bait, viewer discretion is advised.

Which is often on sale, and is possible to buy a second hand license.
