They took the link down, but that cat is out of the bag. Looks like it may not have the analog filters of the Quantum... which is a shame. Will it be worth the money for what’s basically a hardware Omnisphere? Hm...

Well, half the price for twice the number of voices doesn't quite look like a ripoff!
Think of what you get for that price: kernel oscillators, resonators, Komplex modulator and so on, which you won't find in any soft synth.

in a world of classic reissues maybe someone should whisper "microwave" in to the right ears...

Omnisphere also doesn't allow user multi-samples. Also, can Omni import Serum wavetables? Then there is 6 operator FM. The Waldorf Quantum can re-sample itself, or sample incoming audio. Omni doesn't do that eithergentleclockdivider wrote: Wed Jun 10, 2020 10:39 pmDoes omnisphere have kernels that do genuine fm ( phase modulation )zerocrossing wrote: Wed Jun 10, 2020 4:29 pm They took the link down, but that cat is out of the bag. I got that email with the link and listened and wondered if my ears have moved on from hardware.
Or maybe it is just this specific piece of hardware.
