It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

My main tools: Kontakt, Omnisphere, Samplemodeling + Audio Modeling. Unify = godsend. Tari's libraries also rock.

Resistent was the one who originally posted the link to this tool in the thread you linked to Ben H.
I imagine he thought it deserved a thread of its own since it has already been buried in the Dexed thread.
If so then I tend to agree with him.
I tried it but only got one patch out of 32 worth saving but it's a fun tool none the less.

It's really a hit or miss, but a fun tool to play around with nonetheless for sure.
Take care

This is interesting, but the most obvious and much more interesting concept would be to train the neural net to create a DX7 patch out of a sample...
The site also mentions that they simplified the 155 parameters down to 8. Having a user interface for Dexed with 8 parameters could be interesting as well...
