Speakers is a plugin effect designed to emulate a wide range of loudspeakers and microphones using our state-of-the-art convolution engine.

Speakers features a freely configurable effects chain, comprising compression, distortion, and filtering, as well as an array of looping background noises for setting the sound in a variety of environments.

No iLok or any other dongle required!

Our older plugin Speaker is now discontinued.

I have the old Speaker and Megaphone and get a further rebate of 5 Euro.

TBF, there is so much new stuff in Speakers that isn't in Speaker and Megaphone, so I can understand the small discount.

I have all three and the discount is $10. On the one hand, having this plugin means I just won't be using Megaphone or Speaker at all anymore, and FogConvolver less, so I could wish for a bigger discount.

On the other, this is a pretty huge upgrade.

Please, consider that the full price is $/€ 99. The additional discounts (45% and 50%) are going to stay for longer than the intro price (probably all year long).
Speakers is a completely new plugin, with many many new features not available in Speaker, Megaphone, and Fog Convolver.
We are also working on a new version of Fog Convolver that will be almost entirely focused on reverbs, spaces, and experimental IRs, so the two plugins will have different targets.

I don't have a bunch of mics to test it with, but it sounds good to me.

More importantly to me, after testing it a bit I find it's fantastic for creatively messing with sounds. The only thing I could wish for would be a pitch adjustment option for the noise section

) is fun. Smashed up some drum breaks. One minor niggle, when selecting an option it doesn't always register, eg. choose a speaker, click, no change. Envelope follower on filter would have been a nice touch, but no complaining.

This is a great release, I tried their previous version but didn't buy it but this is way more useful. I'm wondering about using it a mastering tool too, the put your mix through a car radio idea except with this their are many more choices.

Audio Eases' Speakerphone is €400... admittedly with a lot more choice but x7 the price currently.

Speakers is definitely replacing Speaker (now discontinued).
We decided to keep Megaphone alive, for now, as you can do a few extra things there (trigger noise, button/burst noise, and the feedback algorithm is different).
Fog Convolver is getting a big update soon as well. We'll try to push Fog Convolver towards reverbs/spaces and for experimental stuff (if you want to mangle and act directly on the impulses).
While Speakers was is meant to be a post-production dedicated plugin.

We have already got a bunch of requests for this. I think it will be possible to add it in the next update.

Hmm, we haven't encountered this issue during the beta testing. Please, contact us with your system info and we'll have a look.
