Back on topic, I like gearslutz better for off topic answers to snappy compressor questions.

I've never thought kvr as a community.
Maybe if kvr did the gearslutz way, more pro would answer to beginners questions.
I mean at gearslutz you have to pay 20usd yearly to use their deals forum and other features.
If you don't pay, you can see their second hand offers but can't send a goddamn pm to the seller (you can't even see his/her name!).
Gearslutz is not a free forum like kvr. So this is the price everyone pay here at kvr, for this huge free "nothing"
(ok, some small hidden topic contains quite valuable information, but too much junk everywhere)
