I have not really looked for any modern apps for midi control, but now I happen to have an android tablet that I would like to use for one of these three purposes (together with BPM-sync from my DAW).
- Pure midi CC control (to control VST/VSTi parameters or hardware)
- Arpeggiator with midi cc automation
- A step sequencer with midi cc for automation.

The only midi capable app I know is TouchOSC, which seems good for sending midi cc's. Have not tried though.

How about a good arp or step sequencer?
Something that can send both notes and cc data (per step is good enough).

I also have hardware synths that I would like to control away from my DAW screen and mouse. Still want to sync and record the midi data into my DAW (Cubase and Bitwig).

Any suggestions?
