Yes exactly, I mean: I have studio one and Ableton too. What kind of proof they need? After my proof confirmation, I could sell one of them?

If you buy from a re-seller, you may not even need proof. I didn't when I bought the 10.0 crossgrade. I assume, if you do require a serial # or other proof, you can do whatever you want with your current DAWs. I mean, they make this offer to get you to move to their software, right?

scan thy proof of ownership and attach. i believe i scanned the screen shot of a another eligible DAW I have last year when i got it.

btw.. you will need to get a dongle if you get pro.

The last month, I crossgrade from bitwig via Thomann.
First, I ask to the Thomann support by mail what they need : screenshot of my bitwig licence.
I send it to the Thomann support, bought the crossgrade and send them the order number.
It was done in a day.
After that, i received the crossgrade box by ups, with the elicencer key and a serial number. Make my registration like a normal cubase user.
No problem at all !

My boxed crossgrade had the dongle in the box.

So if you go the the download route the cost of the dongle and the hassle of buying one separately needs to be factored in.

Cubase competitive crossgrade
