As soon as Obsession is released, I will finally be able to make music instead of wasting time on internet forums.
A well-behaved signature.

Many people know that i am kind of "obsessed" (pun intended) with Synth Brass sounds so here are "some" audio demos of Synth Brass patches that i made with OBsession:

OBSession - Synth Brass Demo 01
OBSession - Synth Brass Demo 02
OBSession - Synth Brass Demo 03
OBSession - Synth Brass Demo 04
OBSession - Synth Brass Demo 05
OBSession - Synth Brass Demo 06
OBSession - Synth Brass Demo 07
OBSession - Synth Brass Demo 08
OBSession - Synth Brass Demo 09
OBSession - Synth Brass Demo 10

This are a single instances and no external FXs were used.

NOTE: The patch in Synth Brass Demo 09 is a Dual patch that uses 4 detuned oscillators to emulate a kind of polyphonnic Unison.
The patch in Synth Brass Demo 07 is more like a "brassy" Pad sound.

Now these are the sound examples we were waiting for! OK I know, what we're really waiting for is the release of the machine itself.
In particular nr. 2, 8 and 10 show that wonderfull raw yet greasy brass sound.
The more I hang around at KVR the less music I make.

I've always hated synth brass sounds. They never sound anything even remotely like brass and the horrible attack portion of them is awful, always. Whenever I hear synth brass, I immediately think "lame!"

Would be the worst song ever if Jump didn't exist :D
You may think you can fly ... but you better not try

You don't need to hate synth brass to hate The Final Countdown.

It's interesting, though, because I love synth strings, even though they don't really sound any more like real strings than synth brass sounds like real brass. I'll buy pretty much any synth that has a good strings patch.

"The Final Countdown" is a song by Swedish rock band Europe, released in 1986. Written by Joey Tempest, it was based on a keyboard riff he made in the early 1980s, with lyrics inspired by David Bowie's "Space Oddity". Originally made to just be a concert opener, it is the first single and title track from the band's third studio album. The song reached number one in 25 countries,[4] including the United Kingdom, and was certified gold in that country in 1986.[5] In the United States, the song peaked at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 18 on the Billboard Album Rock Tracks chart.
Wonder how many people say they hate it and secretly bought it.

It's the sort of single your aunty would buy for you as a Xmas gift because someone said you were into alternative music. And being a dutiful nephew, you would thank her profusely for the kind and thoughtful gift.
