Hi, I am pretty sure it only happens in Bitwig 3.2.1 in my win10 machine. Other DAW like Live 10 and Cubase 10.5 Pro didn't have such issue.

The issue was when I added Reason as a plugin and any other VSTs (say Zebra, FM8 etc ). Total less than 4 plugins in a project ..... When I used the mouse pointer to switch to any other VSTs, they almost shown instantly. But when I tried to switch to Reason, it took at least 4 seconds to show the UI. Like I said before, it wouldn't happen in Live and Cubase. Anyone has such issue?

Regards!

I had this problem once with Avenger... only in Bitwig Avenger opened up (after closing just reopening the GUI while was plugin was loaded and active all the time) with a 10-15s delay compared to how it opened in i.e. Reaper FL Studio and Ableton...

I never figured out what exactly caused the problem but as I upgraded my PC to newer components the issue was gone...
To me it seemed like problems with the internal graphics I used on the old processor...

Not sure if this is applicable to your situation...

Perhaps the vst sandboxing in Bitwig is a problem. All plugins are loaded in a separate process in Bitwig. Other hosts don't do this by default.

Reason and Zebra 2, Punchbox,Chromaphone 2 and Voltage modular on win 10 with Bitwig 3.2.2.

reason reopens instantly when chosen after being closed down.
Mac mini m4 pro, Reaper, too many plugins, Modal Argon8, Novation Circuit Mono Station and now a lovely Waldorf Blofeld.

Lots of people on OSX with Bitwig or Reason were seeing significant improvements with graphical performance after changing colour profile to RGB(something), so there's a precedent for it working, even if it's not clear - at least for me - for why it works.

after upgraded to Bitwig Studio 3.2.3 the slow slows seems fixed. Not instantly but much faster than before and in an acceptable level !
