I am curious to know how come you left the Chord and Hold functionality off.
I know you can use the Dual to get some of the Chord functionality but that method would completely miss the ease of use of the Original's Chord functionality (if I remember it correctly)

Have you played them side by side? I redownloaded the Arturia one yesterday to retry... Wasn't even close. Not even in the same league, sound engine wise imho.

If you buy the VST do you get the RE too when out? (I believe that is the case with The Legend or is it the other way round?)Richard_Synapse wrote: Sat Jun 20, 2020 3:50 pmThe Rack Extension is planned for mid-July, a few things related to the GUI must be re-arranged for reasons specific to the RE format. The core is working in Reason already and has been ever since we started developing the plugin. Similar to The Legend, we use our cross-platform VST/AU/AAX/RE framework here. This is the reason btw why the GUI has similar proportions like The Legend does.

Richard, this sounds terrific. Congrats! I had a very poor opinion of the Arturia version, and this sounds much more like what I'd expect. Really good stuff.
I mentioned some potential FR's for a future release in the other thread, and have a new one. For your consideration:
1. Would be nice to add the Page 2 functions of the OB-8 to the back panel of OBsession. These would be VERY OB-series enhancements.
2. Would like to be able to reorder the effects - even if only the chorus (from last to first or vica versa).
3. LFO sync for the non-step LFO shapes would be nice.

Like some sort of an all-Oberheim OB series "Frankenstein" synth?Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote: Sat Jun 20, 2020 4:16 pm1. Would be nice to add the Page 2 functions of the OB-8 to the back panel of OBsession. These would be VERY OB-series enhancements.

Awesome! I'm assuming there will be a cross-grade offer, like say 50% off the "other" version?Richard_Synapse wrote: Sat Jun 20, 2020 3:50 pmThe Rack Extension is planned for mid-July, a few things related to the GUI must be re-arranged for reasons specific to the RE format. The OB-Xa let you apply Pitchbend to Osc2 only (it was in the Pitch Bend Controls section). Is that option not available here? Let you approximate something like guitar-style double stop bends.
I don't see an option for it here at all.
EDIT:
Mod-Matrix. Thanks Yorrrrr!
