Any easy way to turn off the arp?

You can tune the individual voice cards in semitones to make chords and you can split the keyboard to make two different chords...... :)

There is no Arp but you can turn off the LFO Bars in the Mod Matrix.

wagtunes wrote: Sat Jun 20, 2020 3:29 pm Congrats. I have no doubt it will do well. All your stuff is great.

So ultimately, the question for me comes down to this because I really don't need another synth. Dune 3 alone is off the charts amazing and I use it almost all the time.

Can I make a decent return on a library if I get this and really work hard on putting a quality library together? I didn't think Legend would sell at all and I was dead wrong. Is this the same case scenario? Obviously, nobody can answer that.

And if I do decide to make a library, do I concentrate on using the features not in the original and make sounds the original couldn't make? Will that be more appealing, given I'm sure the factory library will have the usual bread and butter stuff, or will I be alienating the people who want yet another "Jump" or "Tom Sawyer" patch?

There are too many variables to this whole situation. And ultimately, like I said, I just don't need another synth. Though a quality Oberheim, something I don't have, would be kind of nice.

Anyway, all stuff that I have to wrestle with. If nothing else, I will download the demo and see what I think of it.

Congrats again Richard. You're a class act.
I'm not sure how popular tribute bands or cover songs are these days among the younger generation, but I'm pretty sure the old time vets are pretty stocked up on synths, sounds and especially presets. And I'm pretty sure the stock presets at least tickle all those nostalgic areas...

The older vet crowd is probably pretty versed in coming up with their own presets by now, or at least tweaking an existing one and calling it their own. I've never bought a preset pack in my life.

As far as the appeal to the younger kids and new generation coming up in the music industry, I'm not sure how much more appealing this would be to them even with a set of dub step presets.

These kind of emulations that have been done so many times over are a step back in innovation.
But, I'm sure there will be some old vets that are happy to live another day in nostalgia...

So go ahead and jump! :hihi:
And that's exactly what I thought in regard to The Legend.

It's my 10th best selling library out of 80.

So go figure.

There are 2 ways to get an Init patch. First is the presets in the "Init Patch" folder and second is found when right-clicking at a free part of the GUI (where no knobs or buttos are found).

Here is a screenshot of the menu:

The voice modes are also available at the upper left of the GUI where you can switch from Single mode to Dual/Split modes.

Instabought. OB perfection. Thanks Synapse!

Hi Richard, congrats on this marvel.

Can I save patches in demo version and open them in activated version?

Post

I think so, can't think of any reason why they wouldn't work (same format). But I'm not sure.

I don’t thing that is available in the demo - no folders, maybe 50 presets, no init. that I noticed (first thing I looked for)
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S88MK3, S1, BWS, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6 Pro3, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone II, OP1-F, OPXY, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

Hmmm... "Initialize Patch" does randomize the voice adjustments, though. Not exactly what I would expect, as one can manually randomize. Instabuy nevertheless ;-)
Just like the hardware (different voices). Though, you can still "initialize voice adjustments" after initializing the patch.

Yes, thanks, stupid me :-) Doesn't matter much, instabuy.

What? An entire demo video without a “Jump” preset example? F’n rip-off.

(Will be purchasing this later for my Father’s Day gift to myself! Exciting...)

The Demo limitations don't make it totally clear but it seems as if Save is possible in the Demo but not recall.
