I would put a wireless lavalier mic on his collar....

.... if I had a wireless lavalier mic, or a dog.

Because I'm mad I would also try setting up 5 (or more) mics in the yard, tie the dog up and play with a ball in front of it until it was yapping it's poor tortured heart out. Then you would have surround doggy barking... the coolest kind.

must it be _your_ dog?

if not got to the local sanctuary. the dogs there do
nothing else than barking and howling - plus you can
record a dog choir if needed.

How do you record a dog barking?
