Has this been added in the meantime? Can you actually sample with the Reason samplers now or are they still only sample players in the Reason Rack?gentleclockdivider wrote: Wed Aug 28, 2019 8:55 pm -There’s no sampling support in Reason Rack Plugin, only in Reason itself.

Reason Studios should sort parameter naming and values in Reason Rack Plugin because right now it is a mess. Currently you cannot tell what pattern you selected on pattern devices like Redrum or Matrix and combinator knobs do not report assigned names.
Still looks like work in progress.
I love Reason standalone DAW though.

You can actually sample with Reason samplers for years now. If that's what you are asking.Lotuz2019 wrote: Tue Jun 23, 2020 5:51 amHas this been added in the meantime? I know that, but they don't sample in the Reason Rack plugin.kmonkey wrote: Tue Jun 23, 2020 6:40 amYou can actually sample with Reason samplers for years now. Dude, it is a Euclidean seq and to use it for random stuff, you will have to connect its density controls to lfos per backside. There are density cv ins for every drum part Now take an lfo with a slower rate that the rhythm, experiement with level and range and listen what happens to each drum part.mholloway wrote: Sun Mar 01, 2020 7:56 pmYes, that's what you said: and it was 1. totally misleading and 2. incorrect. 'Randomness with control' suggests randomness is involved. It's not. At all. No randomness whatsoever in there. So saying it's "randomness with control' would convey to anyone who doesn't know otherwise that 'randomness' is involved. Which is wrong. Which is why I corrected you. Deal with it.Psuper wrote: Fri Feb 28, 2020 3:56 am
I said 'randomness with control', not randomness. As I mentioned 'one map with discrete sections of layers would be ideal for the majority' should have clued you in if you actually understand the app and how the maps work at all.
“No randomness whatsoever” is wrong. Very.

If you use sample and hold LFOs then you'd introduce (pseudo)randomness. If you use a cycling LFO like a sine or square wave then even though it's hard to tell the pattern it'd be by its nature non random.

??? What is wrong with people here. They do not know about Euclidean sequencers and how they work by density control aka auto-vary seeds? This is KVR and people are supposed to know about this stuff, but don’t?
Wierd, I have a program made with Beat Map where a perc rhythm is constantly varying some of its hit by simply sine wave control over density, but this is simply not happening in the world of KVR experts? Thus, I am a liar? Hmmm.

No that is just me interferring with the rivers of bs. Should have known better than to even get close to such a thread. Reason is one helluva competent softstudio, but my impression has always been that most of its users are not competent at all. Brandolini’s law seems to apply to standard Reason threads: "The amount of energy needed to refute bullshit is an order of magnitude bigger than to produce it." I better get off again before I confuse more “users” with facts.

For your own good you should have taken your meds instead of posting here.
