Damn, I guess Nolly is that popular, huh
Can you stack the 20% loyalty discount on top of the 50%? Anyone knows?
No. I would love that to be real but it is not possible.
80 bucks, huh

That's so expensive. I paid $25 for it! LOL. It's a great plugin, I wonder what the upgrades are, it'll probably worth it to upgrade once the price comes down.
I absolutely love izotope and think their products are great. But without a doubt consistent pricing is not their forte, and I don’t think anyone believes that when you buy something like the elements bundle on a crazy sale for $25 that you’re really “saving 96%.”

Stutter edit is not a product of theirs I foresee myself ever messing though. RX, ozone, and neutron get every day though.

Musicians friend canceled my order, I’m just waiting for my points to go back on my account so it’s $5 again.
Same with mine. It showed up today. Or really, yesterday because my mail comes late and I usually check the next morning. :)

Any opinions on the puremagnetik granular bundle on Sale? Don’t own any of their products so unsure of the quality / longevity. Happy accidents aside, I Also wonder how controllable / useable these granular FX are?

Hahaha, I purchased it. I have Darkglass, Parallax and Archetype Plini and they are everything that I am using for bass and guitar (before I was using TSE in every song). I could think that I am covered but I just wanted to have this last one for having just a few more sounds.

And their upgrade price for Creative Suite 2 (which only new thing is SE2 + product removed) is $199...

Maybe they don't even provide a path (only SE2 to Creative Suite?) Izotope upgrade pricing is a mystery

You've got great Neural DSP choices there to cover ground, with Nolly and Plini especially for the clean and mid tones. For sure they are all nice. However, if you are doing harder music/metal the Omega Granophyre is killer, very weighty impactful sound. Riff boss. And the Abasi one has overtaken Nolly as my favourite all arounder Neural choice, just insane control for lead and jazz fusion too, and metal. So impressed with Abasi, was so happy to pick it up on the 50% sale. Each has their own sound so all depends what moves you. The Fortin ones dont do it for me on the other hand and I wouldnt buy them even if they were on steeper sales.

I am a big fan of their stuff. I just saw the email yesterday but haven't looked into it yet.

Yeah, the granophyre was my other choice (I saw Misha using it in one of his twitch lives and it sounded incredible) but I only had money for one of them and I thought that the Nolly one was more versatile having 4 amps instead of one. I will sure look for the Granophyre on Black Friday if they put the same offer.

Granophyre on its own isnt versatile at all, no fx section (Delay or Rev) which is disappointing not to have onboard but you of course can add third party plugins in the daw chain. Its sound and responsiveness is just so good though. Nolly's 4 amps are very nice and varied sound, the white one is my favourite but they are all good, definitely a taste thing though.

adamjay wrote: Tue Jun 23, 2020 7:52 pm received my fxpansion strobe 2 physical copy today, from Musicians Friend. ordered 10 days ago.
As expected and described by Uncle E, it came in a DVD case with no DVD, and a card inside with a serial, and some URLs for demo download / authorization instruction. Odd lengths GC/MF went to to sell software physically, but whatever...

strange system they got for authorizing the code you receive on a physical card after 10 days of fulfillment… go to the site, download the demo, then run the authorizer from the demo which kicks you to the website, create account, enter serial from card… once registered you will learn that that demo you downloaded is 3 years old, here -- download this newer demo installer instead, then authorize..

No wonder GC is sitting on so many of these and needs to blow them out at 89% discount. They're still for sale and in stock and it is surprisingly Catalina compatible (last update was in June)

Just finished installing the free third party NKS from the NKS User Library on the NI forum. Shows up fine in Komplete Kontrol VST, after some user lib folder creation.
Worth the $21.40, after tax, all told.
Thanks a lot for the info and NKS tip. Did not realize Strobe2 was available. Took 2 mins to set it up and it is working great in Komplete Kontrol. :tu:

If you did not see this: https://freelancesoundlabs.com/index.ph ... ry-library

Simply follow the "Easy Method". I am not using Sounds.com, so it should continue to work fine. This way Strobe2 will appear under main Factory Library -> "All Instruments". No need to navigate to User Library section, although I have kept it available there too.

My brother received Strobe2 parcel just now. Took 12 days to deliver it to Canada. Unfortunately, I can't have the serial number now as he needs to go for work. But everything is ready for it and can't wait to unlock the demo version... :)

Fun fact: My NKS presets count reads as 38,413 in Komplete Kontrol. :o

FYI.. I feel this was recently discussed. I am seeing upgrades for all Applied Acoustics Systems VST. Not a bad price as I think they sound really good.

I was interested in Nolly as an all arounder, but now I'm intrigued. I have the Abasi and haven't taken the time to explore middle-of-the-road tones (the cleans are killers). Would you mind sharing a couple of presets, particularly rhythm presets?

Thanks for the tip on migration. I'm at about 83,000 between factory and user so I might just keep them separate, but i'll experiment on one of my machines to see if i like it.

Has anyone gotten a loyalty upgrade offer from Izotope for Stutteredit2? They say some could be blocked by Firefox but their solution is way too complicated for me. Just texted them but want to see if anyone here has gotten one. BT did a live stream demo on FB today and he must be the most enthusiastic pitchman Ive ever seen..product looked great also
