In version 1.00, there's a bug with Dual mode. The pan positions set in the voice trimmers do not work properly. It's already fixed in version 1.01 coming very soon. Maybe it's what you're reporting or it's related.

Oh, I've not heard of that bug. It's hard to keep up with this thread. I guess that's probably what's wrong. I just figured that Dual Mode is geared for that whole left/right panning thing, but it's nice to know that a more sophisticated Dual mode is on the way. :tu:

Nah, it's cool.

Only ~10 pages a day and besides, no one's got a day job or other obligations. :D

Sound Author wrote: Thu Jun 25, 2020 4:36 am I've noticed this odd behavior with voice panning in Dual mode. After you right-click and select "Initialize Patch/Voice Adjustments" and turn the global Spread knob up, voices 1&2 pan left, then voices 2&3 pan right, etc. This is obviously the desired result, but the strange thing is that you can't get voices 1&2 to pan hard right if you change the Pan knob positions in the Voice Adjustment Edit Section, and vice versa for each subsequent pair of voices. So it seems that Dual mode is somehow pre-configured for that teeter-tottering left/right/left/right panning behavior and isn't really suited for the more random panning behavior you can program in Single mode. Have I got that right or have I missed something?
FWIW i had checked the updated version 1.01 from the download at the beta forum and there the Dual mode seems to work properly as far as i can see.

When voices 1+2 are hard panned left, 3+4 right , 5+6 left, 7+8 right etc both Dual parts will play at the same side when a note is played and on the other side with the next note and so on (with the spread knob set to 100%).

To be able having Dual part A hard pan left and part B hard pan right (which can be noticed best at 100% spread + FXs switched off) you have to set voices 1, 3, 5 etc hard left and voices 2, 4, 6 etc hard right like it is alraedy done in the init patch. In polyphonic use Dual parts use sequential voices like 1+2 (A at voice 1 and B at voice 2), 3+4, 5+6, 7+8 etc. which you can see in the active voice LEDs while playing a note.
In Split mode part A uses voices 1-4 (or 1-8 with 16 voices) and Part B voices 5-8 (or 9-16 with 16 voices).

Obsession sounds really great but if you already own Diva the difference is very small. I've recreated a few Obsession patches with Diva and it is damn close (dual vco, cascade filter, analogue env and trim voices to taste).

Are you able to do this?
On Mac (which btw right click and ctrl+Click are the same function (but I imagine would toggle between solo on and off), it is not doing anything different than what left click would do.

Yes, here in Windows 10 64-bit having a solo voice with a right-click works with the 64-bit VST2 in Live 10.1.15 and the AAX plugin in Pro Tools Ultimate 2020. Also inverting active/muted voices with STRG+left click works here. I have no Mac to tset the OSX version.

Tried it on My Windows 10 rig.
Indeed Right click toggles between solo on and off.
Not sure is the English equivalent of the STRG keyboard modifier. (ahh it is cntrl) and indeed that does toggle between those enabled and disabled on PC, alas not on Mac.

Some users might hold difference negligible, but for me difference is huge. And it's not just "in the ear of beholder", differences are trivially measurable by anyone.

The design of the synth is totally different than Diva. You may be able to emulate some sounds, but there are many that are way different.
