I use Sonar 3.1 and a LOT of plugins, some dxi, some
vsti wrapped thru directixer. When i try to insert a new dxi in my project, found that a great number of them are not there. Then i open the plugin manager AND EVERY PLUG IS THERE no excluded, no problem.
I suspect of a "secret INI setting that limit the
number of dx that sonar read from registry, but i can´t found it in the net. I´m sure directixer is
not the problem. Can a good guy help me?

I had the same problem some time ago. I got some help from cakewalk tech support.
There is a registry entry under hkey_users/software/cakewalk/excludedplugins that you have to delete.
Before messing with your registry I suggest that you contact tech support first.

I also have this problem and tried a few things to no avail, this is the first time I heard about the problem in the registry. Must try that. They have told me different things to try in the past but never that. Thanks for the tip

I just tried it and when I opened Sonar and looked in the plugins folder almost all of the DXi plugins were gone, so I guess that is not going to help. We should contact Cakewalk tech support for some more definitive answers.

As I mentioned. Do not mess with the registry before you contact tech support. They gave me that advice, naybe based on some specific condition that applied in my case.
