I think this is on their release pipeline regarding resizeable UI but what do you think about other REs ? Does every developer needs to upgrade their product UI individually ? If so, there's a tough one !

on reasontalk and here, a lot of people mention the resizeable UI is a part of the RE SDK, if it is mandatory, i don't know. the RE framework is prepared for resizeable UI, but are the built in effects/intruments prepared?cowby wrote: Fri Jun 26, 2020 9:23 am I think this is on their release pipeline regarding resizeable UI but what do you think about other REs ? No. 3rd parties since the beginnig of RE format were obliged to provide 5K assets & 3D meshes.cowby wrote: Fri Jun 26, 2020 9:23 am I think this is on their release pipeline regarding resizeable UI but what do you think about other REs ? It sounds like a long and tedious endeavor, that is most likely difficult to juggle with stable and working code that also demands regular updates and bug fixes.
When people move the goal posts to make a point, there is no longer an original point to be made.

One of the most touted features of the RE format was being future proof, even if a developer abandoned their plugins. An overhauled highDPI interface and the upcoming transition to Apple silicon will be some interesting opportunities to put those claims to the test.

Those aren't claims. Interesting - it kind of explains why RE just like their native devices are mostly rather CPU efficient.

B.t.w. - a bit of o.t.: kinda absurd that a video with a pro-audio background has such a low level

It's something I often see in Youtube vids... audiophile people who don't care about levels at all. It's strange, but common.jens wrote: Sun Jun 28, 2020 9:58 am B.t.w. - a bit of o.t.: kinda absurd that a video with a pro-audio background has such a low level![]()

Don't you have a volume knob / fader / slider somewhere?jens wrote: Sun Jun 28, 2020 9:58 am B.t.w. - a bit of o.t.: kinda absurd that a video with a pro-audio background has such a low level![]()

I was sitting on the sofa with my Laptop i.e. using its built-in speakers, and with both its and the Youtube volume control set to 100% had still problems to understand what he was saying - and as soon as there was some background noise from my family or outside the window it was outright impossible - and I do NOT at all have a problem like this with professionally produced Youtube videos - the difference is staggering.... I can't be arsed to examine it, buit I'd be surprised if the even just normalized the audio-track...

Yes, and sometimes there are other issues like far too many sibilants and stuff too...chk071 wrote: Sun Jun 28, 2020 10:02 amIt's something I often see in Youtube vids... audiophile people who don't care about levels at all. level aside it's all fine here though.
