I just got an Apollo twin x and now logic keeps getting hung up on updating information on audio into plugins...I moved all the component plugins and it opened fine...I moved all the uad plugins and it wont open still...I removed the audiounitcache file and it scans all the plugins and then says some wont validate then it just won’t open no matter if I click continue or open audio unit manager

I uninstalled logic and reinstalled it...now it’s stuck on scanning 1 of 2 plugins...I have no way to tell which plugin it’s getting stuck on

Please help

Try restarting it with all disabled in Safe mode then maybe try validating them one at a time.

Start Logic while holding Shift + CTRL keys on your mac keyboard.

This will run Logic in Audio Units Safe mode ,and will load only the Audio Units that have passed the AU Validation. You can then disable the old ones when Logic opens or try and validate others one by one.

You don't mention which Logic version you are using.
If it is the latest one 10.5.1 and you still have the previous one 10.4.8, try to launch that one.

Also, did you try to log in to a different user, so see if the problem is on the system directory or user directory? Maybe the old "remove Preferences files" trick.
