I would not be the person I am right now had it not been for John Peel. I was there the night he played Teenage Kicks for the first time then played it again cause he thought it was so good. I will miss him greatly although I haven't listened to his show for 20 years maybe 25, was always a part of me....legend.

Am I the only person who thinks that bookies taking bets on there being a Peel inspired christmas single/#1, is in pretty poor taste?
Jeez, he's only been dead a short while and these c#nts are wanting to cash in on his death.

RIP Black Tom and Beckett. They weren't just cats, they were MY cats, the best cats ever.

Not heard about that.
I think it's every citizens duty NOT to buy it so as it DOESN'T get to number one - just like he'd have wanted.

The latest odds for the Christmas Number One are (without Band Aid 3):
Ronan Keating & Cat Stevens (9/4)
Ricky Gervais & Noel Gallagher (12/1)
Robbie Williams (12/1)
The Undertones (14/1)
Kylie Minogue (14/1)
Tony Christie (14/1)
