Keep an eye on Amazon's 'Todays Deal' section for musical instruments, you'll find singing bowls come up fairly frequently. Ive got 3 now, mostly use them 'prepared'

One of my favorite ways to annoy my parents when I was a kid, and make awesome noises, was rolling marbles around in my mom's steel bowls. I wonder how well that'd work with a good-sized singing bowl?

Wow! I never knew they had marble racing. That reminds me of turtle racing for some reason, which I
always wanted to try as I begged my mom to buy me a Reese's turtle when I was 8, which she did.
He died when I was 38. The moral here is don't buy your kid a turtle. Though he was super fast :wheee:
