Does anyone have any insight into what and how exactly do companies like loopmasters work? The "artist" category is the "label" that makes the presets, sample packs and product? Or are these all different products from various libraries that are compiled by loopmasters and sold under a loopmasters brand name? Sort of like the "NOW That's What I Call Music" music compilation series and brand name?

Is it possible elements of these products can also be found in other companies products like ADSR e.t.c?

For example, in the case of Loopmasters and Patchworx
Loopmasters Patchworx 118 is a selection....

From what I understand, each product is different and if it's a compilation, then it would be indicated in the product description. The two products you give as examples are two different products and they don't seem to share the same content.

As for their business model, it's based on heavy advertising in magazines and online (Adwords, ads on music blogs, Facebook, etc.). The libraries from popular artists usually are hot sellers and the rest is pushed by advertising. Since they don't sell necessity products they really need to advertise all the time to make ends meet.

As I see it, those labels are sound design companies. Some might have exclusive contracts with Loopmasters for distribution and some can be bought elsewhere as well. The actual sound designers again might work for/own multiple labels so similar sounds might end up in different packages from different labels on different websites (but from the same origin/sound designer).

Loopmasters is my favorite place to buy sounds though. It's the same company/owner as Plugin Boutique.
