I like how Image Line handle it. It’s sort of a blend of the two.apoclypse wrote: Mon Jul 06, 2020 5:08 pmA better system needs to be implemented imo. Perhaps provide users with a testing suite or strict testing requirements in-order to be part of the beta.

I just assume that you've never mixed a full orchestra for film, voice overs or full fledged pop production with way over 100 tracks aiming for specific mediums (streaming, vinyl, tv shows etc.). Good luck with mixing purely by ear in 2020 and right clicking on hundreds of channels…
Most inflated thing I've read in a while...

Yes, it indeed certainly says "Studio One V5" in bold letters...

Keyword in that is "production workflow". Gotta be something for the music producer/songwriter audience.

Yes! (contrary to what I wrote it's just "Studio One 5" though, not "V5")

Actually, a full orchestra is usually recorded with just 3 mics in a Decca Tree array.jens wrote: Mon Jul 06, 2020 9:11 pmtedannemann wrote: Mon Jul 06, 2020 9:18 am

It's up to the conductor to get a good mix.
THIS MUSIC HAS BEEN MIXED TO BE PLAYED LOUD SO TURN IT UP
