The only interesting feature (for me) in this release is the sonarworks / monitoring channel.
Pretty boring stuff. Show page doesn't seem to be even close to what i was hoping for when it comes to a session view. Lots of extra clutter.
I'm sure others will think different, but for now I will wait for .5 and stick to version 4.

Yes, its a choice (and subscription incudes all Presunus software and add-ins and cloud storage/collaboration stuff etc). I have no interest but I also have no problem with them giving people the option...its just a disappointing big announcement!
Ton of good stuff in there that I am interested in, its all the little stuff (like the last update) + the articulation editor and notation being integrated.
Surprised SQ didn't get a mention?
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S49MK2, Studio One, BWS, Live 12. PUSH 3 SA, Osmose, Summit, Pro 3, Prophet8, Syntakt, Digitone, Drumlogue, OP1-F, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Nord Drum3P, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

Poly pressure and MPE support.
Studio One 5 now supports note controllers for more expressive playback of musical performances using virtual instruments and orchestral libraries. Note controllers affect individual notes, in multiple dimensions if needed. This includes support for MIDI Poly Pressure and MPE (MIDI Polyphonic Expression) with compatible MIDI hardware and virtual instruments.
Would have been a bit daft to include it in the ATOMSQ and not the DAW!

overall a pretty impressive release I think - glad that they've finally implemented MPE.
I also just recieved an email with an offer for 4 months free PreSonus Sphere membership because I recently bought an Atom - probably worth checking out if you're in the same boat.

After 4 years of waiting the tape stretching algo is here (in the meantime I switched to other DAWs of course).
https://answers.presonus.com/7607/tape- ... stretching
But I'm afraid that it won't sound pleasent as this just seems to be a "lock" function regarding to the release notes.
Other than that a bit underwhelming I have to say, at least after that full mouth of advertising statements they did.
I don't need live stuff, I don't need scoring (there are specialist software for that).
I hope Studio One doesn't get more and more confusing because they jump on too many trains.

Is there an additional list for possible bug fixes or any other under the hood developments? I hope we don't have to cope with all the bugs from 4.x in 5.0.
