Oh. Weird. Well, enjoy Knifonium then. It's good for you, not good enough for me. Maybe at $20 I'll consider it in the future (I enjoy bx_oberhausen for that same price). I'm out.

For the $49 price for me, I have definitely use for it. I am a huge Repro-1 and 5 fan, as well as hardware wise Pro-1, K2 and Pulse2, but even then, the Ka-nife-nonium will be excellent for layering duties. I like PA's plugins, they are excellent quality for $29. Besides that, I actually use them

Waiting for BONES to comment here about the res. parameter. As it lowers the volume by quite a bit

I need to spend more time, but, so far..... meh. My price would be $75. At the moment, I’m feeling it’s not there for me. $25? Yeah I’d try it maybe. I filled in the Roland gap instead for $60 with the TalUNoLX (finally).

bx_oberhausen is better to me, as far as PA synths go.

(@ingonator - get it when it’s on sale so you get the other Oberheim flavor... it’s better than Obsession in some ways, worse in others).

Got it for 49, and I really like it (... and as somebody with severe GAS, I do have a substantial number of top soft synths, so I think I do have various other options to compare it with).

So: Not sure what's wrong with me, but as a long time KvR member, shouldn't I hate everything PA?

I never cared much for their plugins, but, since I got Oberhausen, I'm quite stoked.

IMO, Oberhausen and Knifonium easily compare with the top tier analog emulations of other developers.

The comparison to Vacuum Pro are laughable. This synth actually sounds great, especially loved the rez on a filter in the intro vid. I'll wait for the sale, but will probably pick it up.
