One: the "rainbow pride" portion of your post is wildly offensive. Two: your UI mock-ups are generally worse than the product you're trying to improve. But you think they're good so whatever. Three: you can't skin Reaper's plugins so your comment doesn't even make sense.

You need to use the pig, unfortunately.

TBH, almost all of the new features in v5 aren't for me. The only thing that interests me is that Analog Delay, lol. :) I'll demo it, but, I won't upgrade. Maybe even skip 5/5.5, and maybe upgrade on the following versions. Or not. Slowly getting tired of all that upgrade stuff. Especially when I don't even need all those features.

It may be several months before anyone can download it at this rate anyway.....

In my opinion they are incompetent losers marketing-wise. They do their best to generate as much interest NOW at that certain point in time which THEY chose, then they do not have the server ressources to follow up. It's like the insurance company I once worked for: they had big TV ads on how much money people could save by insuring their car with us and the four of us poor inbound people sat there on a saturday evening getting completely flodded with incoming calls - and it only got worse the following days because people wouldn't give up at first. But come on: an insurance company you can't reach by phone nobody needs, right? I don't want to know how much money thay lost. How people so high up the chain can be such impractical, incapable, imbecile idiots - and not even getting immediately fired for it - is completely beyond me.

Anyone else getting invalid product key messages?

Haven't been able to log in at all, so the idea that you're getting that message means you're way further than I've gotten.

The mixer-snapshots are something I have been waiting for for a couple of years. But I am totally in love with Reason right now (for its well-functioning simplicity and general beauty) and they won't manage to pull me back in just with that. Based on the screenshot I saw I had been speculating they had finally turned the arranger into something useable but alas - apparently it stayed untouched. I guess they'll never touch it again as if that initial version had any serious merrits to it whatsoever. With something as powerful as Reason Blocks why would I use a feature so piss-poorly made up like this?

If you bought the upgrade, you're not supposed to click that giant button on the first page that says "Register a product". Instead you're meant to go to Products, click your previous version of Studio One, click the tiny link that says "Upgrade", and enter the key there. Even without the constant server errors, it's a pretty poorly designed site, and the error message doesn't make it less confusing: "You need to supply the product key for the software you want to upgrade".

After 4 hours of trying, I finally managed to get my key registered. Now to try downloading the software
Take a single oscillator, producing a drone. Send it to the wave shaper, altering the tone.
This can be a triangle, Sawtooth or a square. Modulate the pulse width, nobody will care

So if Studio One Artists 5 has 3rd party vsts enabled I wonder if they'll still be giving away that edition with they're USB interfaces, looks like i;ll be buying one of those or Atom SQ if so.

That's the best new feature of Studio One 5.

A certain segment wanted PreSonus to add a bunch of gimmicky garbage for bedroom "beatmakers" and other non-musicians. PreSonus took Studio One in exactly the opposite direction.

After reviewing the new features, a clear direction emerges:
PreSonus has taken Studio One out of the bedroom.

ALL of the new features are aimed at working musicians and engineers—either composing, or gigging, or working in professional recording studios.

Forget Bitwig and Live. PreSonus are gunning for the big fish, and they have Pro Tools in their sights now.
