I do understand your worry of annoying past customers, but I'm sure most people will understand that this is a rather unique situation. More than that, I'm sure that most of your customers have at other times bought no-brainers, elsewhere, at prices that might have annoyed those who bought in at full-price. In the end, it all balances out. That's just how the market is. Everybody exploits deal where they are able.

So what are the hard deadlines, here? You'll absolutely stop at 100? You'll stop when you've raised your goal, 100 people or not? A final date?

I have my eye on the Thorn sets, but can't pay anything out of my account at the moment. If I can get an idea of the deadlines (Only if you know), then I can work out if it's a realistic proposition. Thanks

30 people have entered the group buy so far, bringing us to roughly a third of the original objective, thanks guys!!

As time goes on, I may alter the objective from an arbitrary amount of people entering the group buy, to the actual amount needed for the car engine repair bill, but I don't want to reveal too many details in that regards.

I'll refine the group buy as soon as I can. Cheers

listen this needs to go to another forum, we've got one report and I got a nice pm about it last night...here's my problem, it should go to s&b but that would subject it to the 48 hour bump rule which is not likely to work well with a group buy. So I am moving it to EE for now, totally open to suggestions for or against in s&b or anywhere else...whay do you folk think, where should it go?

No Dave, not there...I'm not even sure I would know how to do that

That is correct. I will send out all the links manually, one by one, to everyone who participates in the group buy.

Anyone who bids the full 50 will receive all soundsets, whether or not the group buy objective is complete, so you can be assured, you will recieve all soundsets.

I MIGHT return the lower bids, to minimize fall out.

Anyone can upgrade to higher tiers if they want to ensure to take advantage of this, probably, once in forever, opportunity, lol.

I expect to send out stuff no sooner than three days, no later than a week.

I will refine this group buy once i have more time. Right now, I 'm calling car dealerships, tow people, car transports, auto body repair shops, car repair shops, and exploring my options, soon, ill update stuff.

Surely, group buy for soundsets should be in soundsets, no?

I am about to possibly work on an omnisphere soundset, so, I will be releasing audio showcases. In that case, everything else might not be the best place.

I don't know why it is an issue. My concern is for the most views possible so everything else might be the best in any case. It seems good here. Just not sure why the hay hoo, but all is well. Let us not DIGRESS for even a single reply in this thread to debate.

I am not sure what the issue is either. There are a number of posts with soundsets for sale in the Soundware section of the forum, one as recently as yesterday. I count at least 12 on the first page alone, not including the free patch sets.
