Nice one. Any news when the Future Bass expansion will be available?

Post

it would be interesting to have a 'real' guitar expansion, i mean note by note, i m not a huge fan of loops.

Post

then you should checkout the Nexus Hollywood Guitars

My first ever purchase of a Vengeance product, and I must say that I will never again make that mistake. The only reason I bought Avenger was that it looked like a great synth(it is, when you can get it to work) and didn't need a dongle(I refuse to sacrifice a USB slot to do something that is entirely unnecessary AND I have to spend more money for the privilege of wasting a USB slot). The copy protection is the worst I have ever experienced(I used to think Uplay was bad)! It's confusing. The instructions on the website don't explain anything. I've got some cryptic message when I run Avenger which again explains nothing. The copy protection software is overly complicated. I've tried to reactivate my license on the Vengeance website- I get some cryptic error message with a bunch of numbers. What's gone wrong? I don't know. The error message said nothing about what the problem actually is.

scroll to some earlier sites, there was a massive codemeter discussion shortly ago. :D However its not that complicated when you use V-Manager, it makes a lot easier.

Feature Request:
Round Robin and Velocity Steps for Multisamples would be a nice option for 2.0.

Jesus, just use V-Manager, it's simple as pie. If you can't figure it out there's no way you could use a DAW or soft-synth etc, they are far more complicated than this.

Potential complicated question

I'm using a Nektar P6 as my master controller and it has "instrument mode" Avenger is quite new so didn't get mapped for it. In instrument mode, if there isn't already a map, the controller will do a "grab" map, which has many controls available to it. We can now go in and set these up however we want. This isn't standard midi CC, the controller has that, but this is much deeper, and it's not a wrapper, although they've made 1 for the T series.

Now here's my question.

What would make a parameter visible to the hardware? All the knobs in the osc are available, yet the filter section isn't. This wouldn't be an issue as we could use a macro, have avenger learn the macro to the filter, then the P6 learn the macro, however, the Macro knobs aren't grabable either.

It's something to do with the code in the VST and how that's displayed to the DAW and to the P6. Whatever that is, can we have more of the other main knobs grabable... or at least the Macros.

And to be clear, the midi learn of avenger wouldn't work here as this isn't CC.

Thank you

the new Avenger drum browser, you can now freely browse through all installed Expansion drumkits and load single samples like claps, kicks, hats etc... Furthermore there will be over 1500 new optimized drumloops to run through the zPlane timestretch algo. This is a lot of fun

Nice. Will there be any sample start/end markers for the loops?

Will the new version have midi channels?

Also the obvious question - when?

I think he had told me a year or so when I last asked.

Nice new feature..

I am also hoping though that 2.0 comes with lots of optimization.....Avenger still remains the only software synth that for many patches I can't play on my system out of tons of synths I own, including Diva and Repro and Omnisphere where I can do projects with several tracks of each.

I am also hoping that improvements in the GUI are done, but early days I imagine.

So Until today I have only had two banks. The Factory Bank, and the other bank that came with 1.5. Today I bought a Third party bank and it now occurs to me for the first time.

Is there a way that I can see all the patches I have for all the banks I have?

Like say I want to see all the Pads I have for all three banks, is this possible?
thanks in advance.
