I know Yammy comes form japan, elecktron from germany, soundcraft from UK, and Boss from america. But is there an extended list somewhere of where companies are based from?

Boss from the USA? Think not! Maybe Hugo, but certainly not the music equipment company. Boss is Rolands little brother, so its from Japan.

The Midi organization has a list per "continent" (north america, japan, europe) on companies that manufacure equipment with midi:

its 303 by 89 pixels, and the limit is 300 x 50...
