How does one qualify for these plugins? Do you have to own hardware?

That's how I am a part of it. I'm not sure if there are other ways to join but from what I understand it's mostly hardware owners.

yes, and you have to register the hardware

Just installed the Magnetite (as well as the free ones) to check out. Haven't really gone deep with these, but not sure if I will. I can't get the license to stick with Ableton.

You find the coupon in the instructions for getting magnetite on the Focusrite plugin collective page. It is advertised as a coupon for the compressor bundle but it works also on single plug-ins.

i have a novation midi controller that is also a qualifying piece of hardware, as focusrite owns novation.

Nope. For the Focusrite Plugin Collective you need a Focusrite hardware, not a Novation one. Novation has its own thing. https://novationmusic.com/en/sound-collective

It's true that Foccusrite owns novation, but, those two giveaways are separate, and bond to hardware by the respective company.

Looks like both Focusrite and Novation plugin collectives are offering it, Ive got the same BRA deal in both my accounts. Different serial numbers

And I have 2 Frozen Plain Obelisks in my Novation account and 1 in Focusrite
