I almost never post here and kind of lost interest in reading this thread when the kname pronunciation was the big topic of discussion. I did post about the aliasing on GS last week and at the same time sent the developer an email. I received this reply back yesterday:

thank you for contacting support.
This is a known bug that will be fixed within the next days.

Hopefully I'll get to check out the fix assuming they reissue a demo period. Otherwise I look forward to reading your impressions.

I must have totally missed your post on GS but this is very good news.
I contacted support few days ago about two other Knifonium issues and today they asked me to provide some form of screen capture.
I will provide it and I might also include the aliasing part as a third issue, "just in case".
My trial period over in 5 days as well.

i hope they fix parameter lag too - then i might even get it when it's 25$ next month

I suggested that it could be that you do, if you rather want to play it fair.

In any case, as this proves, you would have been better off directing this to the developers.

Well... here's the proof that the sine produces harmonics even with a C2 note:

I don't hear anything different even at C7.

That is absolutely not a sine wave. A pure sine wave would not have any harmonics. It’s literally the definition of a sine wave.

It's a sine wave with distortion probably caused by the amplifier or the filter or both.

Any analog synth out there would not be capable of producing a sine wave, according to your definition.
