i have a novation midi controller that is also a qualifying piece of hardware, as focusrite owns novation.

Oh, I have stuff from Novation. I'll look into it.

Edit: So even if I log in through focusrite website, I am redirected to my account that holds the novation stuff. They did add Obelisk, which was nice. But not getting Magnetide. Which I'm fine with.

Just got Magnetite.
Is the license registered to the specific physical drive?
I clone the drive which has the C drive so will I have an issue opening Magnette if booting from the cloned drive?

not if your cloning software has the option to keep the same system ID as before on the new drive. on shadowprotect it always asks for that at some point in the process, I only got to test it once but it worked.

Thanks for the shadowprotect. This is new to me.
I have been using Minitool and AOMEI to clone my OS dive and data drives.
Does shadowprotect clones data but can clone an OS drive and be bootable?

All these yeas I cannot recall ever having an issue with cloning my OS drive.

yes it's a backup suite with all the usual modern functions, which is mostly used by companies but they also offer a desktop version for home users, it's less known than others.
migrating my windows from 2011 with tons of stuff installed to a whole new hardware platform in 2018 was only possible thanks to storagecraft, it was a touchy operation, many of the advanced settings it has did save the day.

Felt I hadnt really explained!

The method I use is I allow the plugin to connect to the internet and Im asked where to save the authorisation. You can choose anywhere just as you can with Plugin Alliance, Overloud, iZotope, Hofa, Revalver, Nomad Factory. Ive got all these on the same USB stick.

I appreciate your concern.
In any case I was having issues with them in Bidule and at one point Bidule froze.
My last two software installations were problematic and wasted hours of my time so I was mad at he world.
Ok, could be that I did not follow instructions properly.

Told ya. For the Focusrite stuff, you need Focusrite hardware.

The voucher does not work on the KH-Comp alone. Just tried it, gives an error when checking out on paypal.
