I am testing new builds of an AAX plugin and want to clear the Pro Tools plugin cache between tests.
I have deleted the Pro Tools cache folders under Preferences; deleted the “installedAAXplugins” file and deleted the Avid Plugin Preset folder for my plugin - but yet when I load the new plugin in Pro Tools some of the OLD presets show up in the plugin preset dropdown menu.
Where are these old presets coming from and how do I create a “fresh slate” for testing my latest plugin version and presets?
How to completely clear out old Pro Tools (AAX) plugin presets?

There's an option to rebuild the plugin cache and other useful things in the debug settings file. See the AAX docs for DigiOptionsFile.
