guitar, keyboards/piano at the moment
I also play bass whenever anyone asks me too - but I can't be bothered on my own
I learnt to play trombone & recorder at school but haven't played recorder for at least 6 years and can't afford a trombone at the moment (it belonged to the school)
would love one though!
I have been known to play the drums, although it's not much more than 1 2 3 4
basically give me an instrument and I'll (try to) play it - but I offer no guarantees
I am surrounded by various other instruments (a chinese fiddle, castanets, tambourine, pan pipes, ocarina, various african drums, harmonica) but whether I could really claim to "play" them is arguable...
...and of course there's the computer

Computer, Bass, guitar, synth, voice, drums... In that order.
I an honestly say I'm damn good bass player, all things considered. But, I rarely play. Designing is just too much fun.

Bass (fretted) - not too shabby
Bass (fretless) - acceptable
Guitar (rhythm) - competent amateur
Guitar (lead) - fumblingly and not very musical really
Mandolin - in a tangle fingered stylee
Bouzouki - as above, but lower pitched!
Keyboards - I can "type" in a keyboard part, or play synths in a pad style where I have plenty of time to consider the move to the next chord

Steve.
I know I have got a negative edge, that’s why I sharpen all the others a lot.

Computer (AudioMulch mostly, learning PD)
Synthesizer - reasonably well, as far as analogue mono's go. Not sure how I would handle something like the MicroWave.
Keys - OKish.
Drums - been a while.
Guitar - Good at making odd noises and drone-y stuff, not that good a traditional player.
Tiny bit of Turkish darbuka. Maybe I should find a decent teacher.
Various noisemakers - chimes, old record-player+odd 7"s, bits of sheet-metal, clay cups &c.
Groet, Erik

When I was younger I used to be in doubt. These days I'm not so sure.

Piano - classicaly trained since about 15 years back so I consider myself decent at it.
Guitar - self taught since about 10 years back. Give me a plectrum and I consider myself pretty decent at it.
Bass - I'm a typical "guitarist playing with a plectra wannabe bassist" type of dude
Drums - a complete amateur but I have some stick time and I can keep the timing well enough
Voice - I can keep the pitch and do some screaming but that's about it.. I always forget the lyrics of even the most common beatles songs. I remeber them better when I'm drunk.
Accordeon - forgot to mention that I can play this thing a bit.. when I'm on a boat, and drunk.

I have played guitar since age 10 - trained in both classical and jazz music but will play anything...(I turn 34 pretty soon, btw).
4 years of piano lessons taught me that I am not a piano player - but I can play sheet music veeeeery slowly and I can hammer out chords when needed. So I can at least control my soft synths with a 2 octave keyboard.
Plus I can sing (in the shower).
And I play the lottery every weekend.

The Puttster
As for me ... no tuba ... but can strangle the cat with guitar, bass and keys (my crappest instrument)any day of the week.
Staying good at any of them takes a lotta lotta practice just to keep the strength in the hands.
As for guitarists ... well, we shall know them by the segs on their fingers.
Got any segs?
Got dirty fingernails?
How many plecs have you lost this month?
When did you last get new strings?

Well put, mate ... you're a diamond, as everi can play the guitar, but i am not a guitarist .. i can play the piano, but i am no a pianist .. i can play the bass but i am not a bass-player .. etc. .. most of all i´m a computerist.
