Any PC DAWs can change fonts size?

Hi Folks,
I own Live 10 and Bitwig 3 and they can't change the font size but can change the "scaling" to certain %. It helps quite a lot if you are using a big monitor say 27" (2k). Wondering if Cubase / Studio one can do the same thing ? Until now, I couldn't find a setting for fonts/UI tweaking. Did I miss this kind of setting under the sub-menu?
Cheers!

Studio One adjusts to Windows' scaling setting, so in a way it's like Ableton & Bitwig but it's not an internally available option, but an external one. This is S1 at 125% scaling on a 1080p screen:

Cubase - in theory - does to, but it sticks to either 100% (no scaling) or 200% and people usually run their screens at something in between or above, so it's not perfect.
I wouldn't be surprised if Reaper allowed to use any type & size font available, obviously.

strange enough that I set windows 10 display at 125%, both Cubase 10 & Studio one's UI are larger. However, the fonts of Cubase 10 were a bit blur while S1 still very clear.

Yes, with Renoise you can... https://www.renoise.com/
Selecting point size (pt) of the fonts Renoise is done on preset size basis, but also has auto which is ruled by the operating system font sizing.
UI preferences in Renoise are far superior to that of Studio One when you actually dig in and explore what options it provides like font size control, per font element colouring inc inverse, graphic - colour/pattern / gradient of panelling and 3D knob depth.
Just wonder if any developers at Presonus have used the most recent version of Renoise.... the default fonts are far better than those in Studio One I have to add. Sharp and crisp at high or low resolution. Changes happen dynamically, no restarting required.

Sound like you've not enabled high-DPI in Cubase. When you do, fonts will become sharp, but size will come back to 100%. It either does 100% (for 125% and 150%) or 200% (for 175%, 200%, etc.)cowby wrote: Thu Jul 16, 2020 8:58 am strange enough that I set windows 10 display at 125%, both Cubase 10 & Studio one's UI are larger.
