I am not sure if I am allowed to take a screenshot of the folder names of the presets. The presets are all very good quality, it is purely just whether they are up your street or not.

When the granular module is released I am going to create a bank of presets based on it. Just depends if my ideas suit your taste or not

Let me go youtube hunting. I am sure someone has done a preset walk through.
Thanks again.

yeah. I had heard that one awhile ago.
Thanks.
My ears are mostly old school... I am mid 50's, and grew up on analog synths, so I tend not to love too bright, screechy sounds. Moogs, Rolands, Oberheims etc were more my things..
Modern day software stuff: I love Omnisphere, u-he stuff (even Bazille whilst digital, I think Urs has an analog aesthetic), Synapse stuff etc...... For Digital stuff I quite surprisingly like Serum (although I rarely use it much), and like Thorn, Surge, Massive X, Icarus 2, Spire etc for instance.
For those that soundwise that do not gel with me, would be Falcon, Phase Plant and a few other more recent very kvr popular ones....I find them very flat, vanilla sounding.
Beyond that I am not sure how to describe my sound aesthetics ....

Exactly the reason why your expansion would be awesome!

My intentions with Rapid once the granular synthesis is implemented, is using it for soundscapes, drones and other cloudy atmospheric sounds. It'll be different I guess from what we usually hear from audio demos online...

Rapid is also a very good VA synth since 1.7 added Organic Drift and the new pro LP filters...it can be made to sound smooth and very analogue, not just the clastic wavetable stuff.
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S88MK3, S1, BWS, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6 Pro3, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone II, OP1-F, OPXY, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

That is part of what I am unsure of. How is generating these VA waveforms?
Isn't it by using wavetables? Certainly in the demo that is the only way I see to generate them.

Yeah you can only use the Organic Drift and Warm on the wavetables. If you use a sample/resynth sample then that option isn't possible.

Yes, by using wavetables. The Organic Drift is applied as an oscillator effect.zvenx wrote: Fri Jul 17, 2020 3:38 pm That is part of what I am unsure of. How is generating these VA waveforms?

You may think you can fly ... but you better not try

I wish that you could use the organic drift together with the various osc fx. (Without needing two oscillators). It should really have it's own place in the gui. It sounds good.
