got any tracks to share?
I guess according to you, you need to be a michelin-star cook in order to identify if the food is mouldy.

great techno clip, it sounds like... i don't know. nothing that screams "amazing analog emulated tube gear" - likely it would sound identical with stock DAW synths. weird how that works.
I do hear some aliasing tho, would probably be better with stock clips

Can you please test it again?
I'm still hearing something even on 192k when I turn up the VCO levels.
But maybe this is the synths DNA now.
Just please confirm it :)
it has some aliasing when extremely driven at the top end. not great, but in 99% nothing to worry about imo. (kinda like SPL IRON lol.) take it at face value - it's not something PA gives a f**k about.

The oscillator waveshapes look odd on the oscilloscope - might be the "tube" imitation, can't say because Knif's are too rare and i haven't handled tube synths IRL.

It doesn't sound like analog tube gear to me tho, any that i tried, nor like any analog synths i ever tried. (as opposed to u-he and synapse stuff that does)

The updated version doesn't inspire with FX bypassed - so i'll likely pass it anyway. Synapse obsession or even FabFilter twin2 with its 10 different character filters both seem like a more fun addition at this point

lol you're hilarious

here's another I just hWIPPED up. just automating feedback and some basic controls. I love the interaction between modulating different parameters and how it makes the sound kinda fall apart in weird ways.

looking forward to hearing what you're working on, ploki!

and here's one of me just recording the output and moving knobs around to some dumb acid sequence, incase anyone wants to hear the raw tweaking.

A cool discussion shall not be biased by facts!

Thanks for checking Ploki.

I bought it yesterday, as It's doing something for me and is pretty unique in it's unstable behavior.

Agreed. The problem aliasing I reported a few days ago and emailed them about is gone. I'm not concerned about anything that's imperceptible under normal use (i.e. not specifically testing for aliasing) .

I also hope they respond to my request to add selectable midi channel or at least omni mode. I will most likely be purchasing this one at some time in the future. I love messing around with feedback. This is the first digital product I've come across where with some concerted effort I can get some pleasing sounds using fairly heavy feedback.

I haven't loaded the demo yet.
Does this include NKS? and if not, any idea on when it might?

Out of the stuff I have/know, XILS4 and VoltageModular.
The Arturia's ModularV, ARP2600 and Easel also work similarly (sadly not the Synthi), but I just checked and it seems like audio being sent though, besides being available as an external mod source, is also currently running through the plugin at full volume, and I'm about to contact support and ask if the latest update broke something, as it seems.

just did. nothing out of the ordinary here

and knif 1.0.1 still lags as f**k, automation is useless for anything faster than long gestures
